Drilling in and out of a Box Plot

Drilling allows you to view data at different levels in a box plot.

To drill on an element in a box plot

  1. Select a box plot visualization.
  2. Right-click the elements you wan to drill on, choose Drill, and the attribute to which you want to drill. Only the elements you select appear. The drill-to attribute you select groups the elements.

To undo drilling in a box plot

  1. Hover over the visualization to display the Filter icon in the title bar.
  2. Click Filter .
  3. Choose Clear "drill conditions" to remove a specific drill condition.

  4. In the Editor panel, replace or remove any attributes or metrics that were removed or added as part of the drilling.

    Tip: You can also click Undo to undo drilling.
